Mage Rework - Particles to Balance Storm Cloud overuse/recent nerf.

Huge agree,I have been recommending attacks like this to make mages unique for months, definitely supporting this.Robby wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 2:22 pmThanks for the feedback! Sounds like there does need some reworking for the mage's basic attack. I'd like to get a little more feedback from some other players first before deciding to make some changes. Can anyone else agree or disagree with what is said here?

That would be really nice!Robby wrote: ↑Wed Nov 24, 2021 9:43 pmOk thanks for the feedback! I've got something in the works right now for a complete rework of the mages basic attack. I think it will be pretty cool.
If anyone plays Smash Bros, it's loosely based off of Palutena's side-B attack from Smash Bros Ultimate. So stay tuned for next update.
But, to add to this topic, it would be nice to have a rework on the Storm Clouds and the Magic Breahte, that right now are kind of poor skills that the only thing they do is wasting MP. Clouds right now have basically no range so there is no point in using them, and magic breathe, even thought it got a dmg buff, they still dont do enough dmg to use them instead of melee attacks, because they still use too much mp and doesnt have enough range.
I read before a good suggestion that was replacing magic breathe with a fire ball kind of attack that has more range and does a little bit more dmg than basic melee dmg. That would buff the mage class at farming and would be more fun for us.
And the best way to balance the storm cloud was removing the stun effect they have, because that way people would come to attack us without fear of getting to the ground everytime a lightining hits them, not removing the range of it. (I dont know if it is a bug or whatever, but whenever i do a storm cloud, sometimes clouds do poison dmg but doesnt do it's main damage lol)
Thanks for reading our suggestions, changing the melee dmg from mages was something i really wanted for a long time!
