Can we have multiple consequences for playing different codes on the keys in front of the Ice Caves? For example, if we play the entry code backwards, would 24 Shroom Warriors jump out and attack us?
There is some potential for the many unused keys there. It might be fun to unleash 5 Blizzers in the area just for playing the wrong code.
Alternatively, we could require multiple keys to be depressed at the same time, similar to the trees in the Teplar Village areas.

Good point, Kentrassi. It would be hard to get into the ice caves if someone were constantly spawning monsters from the entrance.

Areas 10 and 58 have special switches that spawn enemies a little away from the switches. What's stopping us from spawning mushroom enemies away from the piano keys?
Also, piano keys are a bit thin, and can be a pain to play it without making a mistake, especially if you want to unlock the entrance instead of spawning monsters. Or maybe have a 2nd secret code hidden?
Speaking of area 58, the switch can't be used infinitely, you need to kill some spawned monsters first before using the switch again. We can do the same here.
Late areas do miss hidden mechanisms like that.
