So, this is my first time I ever got scammed. What happen is this guy with the name "Wojan" (I believe his first initial is the only capital, but if not then it is in all caps) kept trying to get me to trade my AK for a pellet spitter, but what he would do is keep closing the trade if I accepted before he could remove his gun from the offer. But finally he did it, he removed his gun before I hit accept, then accepted it himself, and got my AK for nothing. Wouldn't give it back and sold it, even bought new armor for himself. We need more preventative measures for this stuff so POS's like him don't get away with this stuff.
How I think it should work is that you can see a list of all your trade history, it will include everyone you traded with, the time of trade (in server and your time), what was discussed (every thing in the trade chat, maybe even the main chat just in case), and what you traded. You can then have an option to the side of it to report the player. 1 more thing is that you can report multiple trade in the history, in case they say or do something in one trade that they don't in the other. Then after the report is submitted, someone can verify it is a legitimate report and punish the player in some way (such as a trade/vendor ban, a chat ban, an account ban, or even a hardware bad [if these things don't already exist, dunno]).
I sadly didn't screenshot the trade and the discussion because I miss clicked in frustration for some (especially with him constantly opening and closing multiple trades after failed scam attempts). I only managed to get screenshots of his account. Even if nothing can be done about him, I just hope that something can be added to stop people like him.
Scam Preventative Measures
Re: Scam Preventative Measures
i also have seen many players like that scam in trade
i hope it will be stop by adding timer to trade in 10 seconds
like after accepet the trade by both players then no one can change their items in trade but by that timer trade will not success until 10 seconds then
if we see trade have not expected items we can soon decline it before 10 seconds
i hope it will be stop by adding timer to trade in 10 seconds

Genius, that too should most certainly be added. It is simpler and more effective than my suggestion.rawana5 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 4:18 pmi also have seen many players like that scam in trade

Re: Scam Preventative Measures
second method
after both players accept their trade one make a second button to complete trade so after both players accept trade once both can see which items going to trade and if trade is ok both players can press complete trade button and complete their trades successfully

Re: Scam Preventative Measures
Yeah, surprising since my first account I made probably back around June 2020 and I have never gotten scammed since then.
