Lost 257 Emeralds in Vendor

I saw that the emerald prices suddenly started going pretty high, so I decided to sell 257 in the vendor when the dupe happened. I lost all the money I obtained from the emeralds, and additional money from real items I sold in the item vendor when I wasn't even aware of the duped money that was being used to buy them.
