How I see it, Xantis has a lot to do with why Eliatopians are the way they are, I mean the guy apparently has god dang satan magic that mindfvcks people, so... I could legit see him as the personification of hatred, so much that he would create an entire world in his image.
(probably a dumb notice but, Eliatopians ALL have the same hair colours, eye colours and skin, somewhat like his biologically altering attempt at reshaping the entire world in his image, with the individual look of the Eliatopians coming down to how they choose to dress, or how they style their hair, as opposed to the nameless government drones who all look the same and pretty much function the same way: see human, kill human).

I'm also one to say X-Podz was possibly not made by Xantis, and instead some other faction in all of this, to keep a percentage of the human population safe from whatever crazy shιτ cyclops hitler did in the timeskip.

And finally, monsters always existed on earth, they are the ANIMALS of earth, I mean, HH being a prequel or not that is how they are portrayed in Eliatopia. Natural enemies are very animalistic, not some evil monsters that pillage and plunder, but rather animals who are, like the humans, trying to survive a planet constantly hunting them down...totality, nice.
The enemies that look more monsterous are either genetically altered by the Eliatopian government as bio-weapons to kill more humans, or entirely mechanical. Logons are really the only ones who don't fit the role perfectly as they had been retconned from beings of magical gods into just- reincarnated trees, which doesn't really SERVE any morality beyond a nature zombie...or vampire, depends on how intelligent you consider a plant that died...yet again, they were revived...and have a SINGLE EYE...HMMMM, LORE CONFIRMEE???!?!?!??!? GAMING?!?!?

Remember the first thing, scientists found new planet, and then they said when send people to that planet, the game said SOMTHING WHEN WRONG, so probally maybe the planet we are in is EARTH and we think is other planet also the game said in the start that the travel will spend a thousand years so maybe when we send to space, aliens invade the earth and thats why the computer in library of Alion said renegrade people are human and elitopian mating, so probaly the family in the cutscence ALREADY DEAD long time ago and our asteroid just fly around the earth and fly back, also mine hypothesis can explaned why Xantis hate human since human put up a fight with them anyway
