Poison/Electric Salamander: Nucleon

Post by Flashlight237 » Thu Feb 17, 2022 7:02 am

So, Soldeir5 made a monster suggestion thread... That was the most unoriginal thread I've seen next to some of my own. Here, we have a Poison/Electric dual-elemental mob: the Nucleon.:

Image

It has an inactive form where it's green bits are dull, then it has an active form with glowing green bits. How awesome is that?

It passively deals poison damage; the closer you get to it, the more poison damage it does to you. It also fires off bolts of electricity and it has an AoE thunder attack (a la Storm Cloud). Yep.

As for its details, well...

Name: Nucleon
HP: 750
Defense: 120
Power: 320
Poison Damage: 40
Weight: 2700 lbs (Square-cube law from Chinese Giant Salamander)
Eliapedia Entry: Nuclear power is about the cleanest form of energy there is if it is done correctly. The Nucleon is a monster that produces it's own nuclear energy. It normally lives in deposits of uranium, plutonium, and curium, which is Eliatopia's highest naturally-occurring element on the periodic table. Strangely, I sense traces of berkelium within Nucleons, making them somewhat capable of elemental synthesis. Nucleons use curium-infused crystals to charge up then launch electrical attacks. Curium is a highly radioactive element; so much so that just walking up to the nucleon poisons you. Nucleons sometimes prey on stray Dumtilians, although they normally prefer eating the mutated flies found in the radioactive mines of Eliatopia. As Scorpees are normally intelligent creatures, they know quite well to stay away from Nucleons. Night Stalkers, not so much, as some Night Stalkers are found cooked to death from radiation burns.

Drop List

Marshmallow Stick: $216; 5%; 10.8
Green Soda: $247; 10%; 24.7
Neon Shark Shoes: $11308; 0.5%; 56.54

Mini Rayon Gun: $348414; 0.05%; 174.207

Stage 2 Poison Rune: $2; ???
Stage 3 Poison Rune: $3; ???
