Not weak

A level 69 whipmaster can get like 120k damage

For me, it is pretty decent right now. But it relies heavily on being accurate to maximize damage. And with some janky hitboxes, it can mess that up. But I am only as far as the leaving the slime factory and don't know how this class will go when i hit a grind spike.
