only cuz of the abilities but whips are just bad in general since they have very bad range and u have to hit your enemies with the tip to do actual damage plus u need like 5 mp for each hit which is hard to play with in early game since you're trying to earn money for better stuff but you'll probably end up using most of that money for mp food

Warriors are good now honestly, I feel like all classes are good and have a purpose other than whipmasters.
