This has probably been suggested a million times, but subclasses. Each class you choose will have a different path to select once you reach a certain requirement (such as reaching level 30.)

Some of these subclasses are referenced off certain games but would still be cool.

Mage Subclasses:
Sorcerer: Attacks deal more damage.
Conjurer: Spells are more cost efficient.
Enchanter: Runes are more efficient.

Warrior Subclasses:
Rogue: Attacks deal more damage and speed is increased. Defense is reduced by 15%.
Paladin: Defense is increased heavily.
Knight: Attack and defense slightly improved.

Gunman Subclasses:
Rambo: Rate of fire for all guns is increased by 20%.
Runner: You can run while shooting.
Deadeye: You have a 15% increased chance to crit.

Archer:
Hunter: Arrows slow affected targets by 10%.
Crossbow: Arrows fly at a faster velocity and pierce enemies.
Robinhood: You deal bonus damage to enemies with more health than you.

Subclasses, or in actuality alternative playstyles, HAVE been attempted for both warrior and mage, but they usually just change things like speed and defense, or whether or not your melee attacks use MP or not. These have both failed because either the alternate playstyle is genuinely just dogsh!t (slow warrior is not valid and nobody can change my mind), or it barely matters (mage melee is largely underutilized).

See, that's what I don't get. Why does anyone treat slow warriors like it's the in-thing? I mean I'm just like you; I don't see the point slowing my butt down.

this is a unique post, thinking i barely see this on other games... some subclasses are just straight up broken, some are fine. I was thinking of supporting this... idk if it's good to add it now. mhm

I do like the idea of this, and sort of has it vaguely implemented with things like certain skills and such. I would like to add more stuff relating to this in the future, so we'll see in due time.
