In my opinion the majority of the items should be dropped, specially the best ones. They could also have specs, like more damage, critical chance, armor, magic, etc. This would make the items different from each other, nowadays all the high level players use the same stuff, we are all copycats of each other.

This would also fix the high price itens of the NPCs once we would not need them much anymore. And of course, this is not viable right now in the game since we don't have strong mobs to drop strong items. It's just an idea taken from other games I've played through the years.

Thanks for the detailed suggestion! I do really like the idea of craftable items, for much of the same reasons you listed. This is something I will keep in mind for the future, as I would probably like to add this in. However, it will probably be a bit of work, and I'll need to add good chunk of equips/items in that would benefit from it. Especially if/when I was to add fishing in, that's a whole new system I will need to program in as well. So I'd say it's fairly likely this will get added in, it may just be a good while still, since I'd still like to focus on getting a bit more main content (enemies, etc) in before spending a whole ton of time on other things such as this.
