When casting a thundercloud as a mage and leaving the current eliatopia tab, that thundercloud will last about 10 or more minutes. Basically extending their duration to an insane amount.
Tutorial on how this happens.
Open two tabs on google chrome.
Use one to open eliatopia
Use your mage powers to cast thundercloud
Go to the second tab and DO NOT interact with the eliatopia tab (don't even think of hovering your mouse there)
Then just, idk farm everything with a bugged thunder cloud
------------------------------
Yes, the cloud still has the characteristics as a normal thundercloud.
No it isn't a visual bug, fix this.
Mage thundercloud bug (explained)
Re: Mage thundercloud bug (explained)
This is an issue with Google itself. I think the only way a player could go around this without it happening is by opening up a new window instead of a new tab. I've noticed that the same thing happens when getting attacked from enemies. I can leave the tab and come back with no health missing, even though enemies were attacking me.
Re: Mage thundercloud bug (explained)
Thanks for pointing this out. I just looked into this and it does indeed seem to be an issue with the browsers themself. I'm not entirely sure I can circumvent that issue. Most browsers limit the game to play at 1 fps when the tab is not active, in order to save your computer some performance. The positive thing to note about this though, is that the cloud should still not be shocking enemies during this time, and if it does, it will be at a rate of 1fps still. So for now, I'm not sure there's anything I can do about this problem. =/

Re: Mage thundercloud bug (explained)
I don't think this should be abusable really. When the tab is inactive, I don't believe the cloud will be able to shock enemies. The game should lock itself to 1 frame per second when inactive.
Re: Mage thundercloud bug (explained)
oh boy, believe me, its like a normal cloud itself. Idk what he 1fps thing has, but it clears everything it can strike in its path. Im a mage and i can tell you that the 1fps rly doesnt matter with this bug, i think the game is running at 1fps when put on side tab. But i think whats really happening is the game is actually still running, normally (but at 1fps)
Ive played a few games where even if its at 1fps. You still randomly teleport to immediatly doing the actions even though your slow as heck.
The 1fps method probably wont work on this one, eliatopia being an online game, i think it doesn't really do kind of.. anything
(I guess normalize the fps?) thatd fock me up and my pc lmao considering it's old as heck.
I guess the only method is dont do anything with the fps when going on another tab
Or other developer shiz, idk im not one
