Maybe Nerf Runes and Stones Drop Rate?
There seems to be an abundance amount of certain runes and stones in the vendors. This doesn't even include the ones that people are storing/collecting. Someone mentioned in game(forgot who '-') that we're still a pretty small community and the amount of runes/stones is going to be absurd once we gain even just another 30 active players.
The ones I suggest nerfing are the following:
Sharpening stage 1
Sharpening stage 2
Sharpening stage 3 (just a bit at lumbercore)
Hardening stage 1
Hardening stage 2
Poison stage 1
Poison stage 2
Fire stage 2 (this one doesn't need much)
You could also nerf ones like hardening stage 3 or poison stage 3 to balance it out but, it really isn't needed like the ones above just quite yet.

Maybe like a weekly event that changes every rune drop rate to make them rarer or more common

Dude, their drop rates have already been nerfed once. Don't make it harder to get runes

Yeah, what Mike said! Don't make runes rarer than they already are! Robby had to personally tell me that Spiked Squishers, Crabs, Stalagmites and Great Frogs dropped H1s when I brought up the Hardening Stone debacle up to him because their drop rates are so low!

I'd imagine there's a surplus on some runes, because of how easy you can exploit some bosses for them. Also, this game gets an average of 30-40 players a day, so it makes sense for there to be a surplus.

More runes + stones = less value on all of them
Less value on all of them = more people can purchase them
more people can purchase them = less money in your pockets + people have runes they'd have to compete to sell with others or let expire after a week
less money in your pockets = complaint?

I mean it was just a thought but, it ain't up to me
Would've thought people would prefer that runes and stones were rare and worth something but, if people prefer that a bunch of players just have up to 50 pieces of each, then so be it.

Thanks for bringing this up, I do want to make extra sure runes don't run to rampant. That being said, I also want to make sure stage 1 stones aren't TOO hard to get, so that new players can get the fun feeling of upgrading items at least 1 stage.
I'll try to keep an eye on how many are available in vendors and such as a way to gauge the economy. The good news (and part of a side-reason why I invented vendors), is the any un-bought items will be removed from the economy. So in other words, un-bought emeralds without vendor insurance (whish is most of them) will be depleted from the economy.
For now I'll leave it as is, but feel free to bring this up in near future if you still feel it's getting too out of hand. It's definitely something I want to keep in check. At any rate, I'd like to at least keep the HIGH level runes/stones super rare. (Plans are to go to stage 5 eventually).

i agree that the drop rate is fine, people just grind a lot lol
