Farm and breeding

The game requires farmlands/poultry to contribute products (foods for mp/hp), but instead of the currently implemented goods, we could have chickens, pigs, eggs, wheat, and maize ingame.

These items must only be available at the farmer's market (means not available on npcs)

The object must have a land region where farming and animal and plant breeding can take place.

Here are some examples of land ownership:
The value of the first land extension is $100,000.
The value of the second land extension is $200,000
400,000 for the third land extension

*[These are sample only]*
(5 planting/breeding sites per acre)
(It takes time for newly planted crops to mature enough to produce food)(A plant can only produce 50 pieces of fruit) (Thought of having 10mins-20mins delayed time of every fruit to ripen)
*You will be in charge of these options*

In relation to the breeding system:
A player must have two animals of the same species (of course for breeding).

Here are some examples of breeding products:
1. chicken — will produce eggs (after N days, they will hatch into chickens)
Fried chicken can be made from chicken.
Cooked eggs are eggs that have been cooked.

2. Pigs, specifically produce baby pigs
Pigs will be eaten as well.

*The player has the option of transforming them into foods* (idk how will they processed but maybe the creator can have this settle)

Finally, there will be a farmer's market, where players will place their crops/goods for sale as well as their names on the various storefronts.

Isn't it fun to have a profitable side job?

This idea simply doesn't fit to this game. Also buying food ain't such a money problem if you know how to use it wisely.

I like the idea you're going for...but this just won't ever be used + would take away crucial dev time from other aspects of the game

Thanks for the suggestion. While what you mentioned could be a neat side thing for the game, I think it would take too much development time and wouldn't contribute enough to the core aspect of the game. There is a thing called "feature creep" in game and software development, that I think this would fall under.

i suggest you DO add the farming thing in the game, but in a small scale. then see how the players look through this
