New mage skill: Wizards Apprentice

Wizards apprentice:
Your apprentice hops on your back for a free ride. In exchange, they randomly spill potions on the ground every 10 seconds causing enemies (including players in pvp) to experience their effects when within range.

Effect: 10% speed reduction and 10% slower attack speed
Potion zone size: 12 (roughly half of a max-level poison zone size)
Skill levels: 3
Level 1 effect duration: 3 seconds
Effect Duration increase per level: 1 second (Maxed out at 5 seconds)
Zone duration: 15 seconds
Apprentice duration: 30 seconds
Level 1 Mp cost: 10 MP
Mp increase per level: 5 MP (total 20 MP at max level)

Food Poisoning (branch):
Your apprentices potions cause your enemy’s food supply to be temporarily poisoned resulting in their food being less effective (Applies to both HP and MP healing items)

Skill levels: 5
Level 1 effect reduction: 20% less healing
Reduction increase per level: 20% (Maxed at 100% reduction, food is useless while infected)
Level 1 Mp cost: 2 MP
Mp increase per level: 2 MP

Fatigue: (branch)
Your apprentices potions induce fatigue on your enemies causing them to periodically lose MP.

Skill levels: 3
Level 1 loss: loses 3% of total MP every second while infected
Loss increase per level: 1% (max of 5% loss every second while infected)
Level 1 MP cost: 2 MP
MP increase per level: 2 MP per level

I envision this skill to work similar to poison zone, but with a much smaller zone size. The effects last forever while standing inside the zone, but once the enemy leaves the zone the effects last for only 5 seconds.

Support. Mage could really use some help for PvP after the much needed nerfs were added.

Mmm.... I dunno, I honestly have my doubts Robby would be willing to put in PVP-exclusive skills, especially after the last time he weighed in on PVP.

I rather think that mage does not have enough good long-range attacks right now.

Thanks for the suggestion. I like the idea of having some more skills that help other players, your friends, or guild mates out. Unfortunately, having a player ride another player's back is doable, but will be a lot more work and probably be prone to having a bit of bugs that I may not catch at first. If this could be reworked another way that doesn't involve riding on another player, it may be a bit more doable for me to fit in. As cool as riding on another player's back would be though. ;)

Actually, I moreso thought of it as your apprentice being like more of a "pet" than another player, if that makes it any better on your end. More like just for a visual effect I thought it'd be cool.
