Not being able to downgrade a Item Loss Skill

So I just bought the stage 1 item loss skill, only to see what was next, which was the xp loss. After checking that, I wanted to get rid of my item loss skill. But for some reason, I cannot, so now I am at risk of losing my helmet just to get a slight damage buff that I do not want.

You can downgrade 1 skill per level up, you must have used yours for this current level (the downgrades don't stack either). If you level up again you should be able to then downgrade it.
