On top of the character specifically.
This is to avoid confusion between guild members just because they were the same equipment as to someone random.

Honestly I find names on characters kinda distracting and I much prefer them not being there. You know what would help with that? Guild flags, or better yet archers having a better sense of fashion since half my social lists looks the fudging same!

Guild flags will probably take long before implemented, and it has been suggested already but is not getting any response from Robby.

I hope guild flags will be live, the guild house has flags so I'm guessing guilds would also have one right?

Guild flags have been added for next update. They should help you to differentiate between guild members in PvP.
