Pets have been said in the past that they would be added but only as cosmetics, they would just follow you around, they wouldn't give you any stat increases, though it is cool to give companions some ability, botters can find some way to abuse it one way or another, I like the design of the pets bet anything that does damage or helps someone move faster is gonna be either a botters delight or something for afk's to use.
