Okay, so this might be the first time I can remember anyone suggesting an exception. See, when dealing with a player with a Pellet Spitter (600 RPM gun; equivalent to one shot every six frames), I had a hard time just getting to the player because the rate of fire felt like a constant push. I know exactly what causes this effect, and that is the mechanic of player knockback. Whenever a player gets hit by anything, the player experiences a little knockback.
What I'm suggesting here is to put an exception to the rule in the Forbidden Woods (PVP). Have it to where players in PVP receive no knockback from any attacks whatsoever. That way it'll be much easier to deal with anyone with a high-RPM gun (Paintball Gun and faster). This should help balance PVP out. But yeah, there's that.
Exception for PVP
Re: Exception for PVP
Thanks. I will indeed be greatly reducing the knockback of attacks from guns. I'll have this change released either today or tomorrow.
Re: Exception for PVP
