HH reborn sugestions 2/5: new features, blacklisted features

Since HH's forums are glitched for months, i guess i will invade Eliatopia's forum again for this. Here i propose various suggestions that add new content for Helmet Heores reborn (other than adding new areas). I will also point out few features from the original Helmet Heores that should NOT come back (although for some of them, it is a bit too late)

TL DR (because reading skill issue):
- new features:
1) heropedia
2) area maps
3) FREE vendor machines in fairy ville and in mushroom village (LIKE Eliatopia, NOT like original Helmet heroes)
4) new event: raid boss enemies
5) new event: normal shops sales (not the payvault, except things like black friday i guess)
6) some kind of fishing (with special fish + fish gear inventory). (note: NO SHINY)
7) for some future areas: class themed area (ex: repguana = archers)
8) much later: add an additional new town between repguana and volcano area (if keeping a linear world)
9) variant: different mid/late game areas organisation, being less linear, more circular paths
10) new event: hide and seek coin box
11) (edited 20 september) online players list

- blacklisted features:
1) no books / booking
2) no pets (or not with the same OP expansive system. i'm fine with just a cosmetic pet)
3) blacklisted items for payvault (for some, it is a bit too late)
4) for future enemies: no broken power scalling

What is next is the details of each idea. I do NOT force anyone to read everything at once (there is a bit to cover). It's fine to take some break, and check again later to read the rest. Anyway, here are my suggestions for HH reborn:

- new features:

1) heropedia (for monsters info + drop tables. we really need to see some actual info about drop rates, like in Terraria)

2) area map (i doubt having yellow dots will work here. Maybe have multiple areas "boxes" with a general layout of the areas (boxes exemples: left training grounds, bouncer cave, training grounds shop, fairyville city, ...), with an option to see the number of players in an area. This also help determine the different chat areas (or is it just by main regions?)

3) vending machines like in eliatopia, to allow players to sell items to anyone at anytime. Just be sure to make it FREE, like in eliatopia (and NOT like original helmet heroes. We don't want a downgrade)

4) special events: other than the robo bird invasion (in original helmet heores, in robo city), i propose having some kind of various "raid boss" enemies, having a lot more HP than normal (but having just slightly stronger attack and defence). Each raid boss have an initial money bounty, that will go down with time. When the raid boss is defeated, ANY alive player that dealt at least 1% damage will automaticaly earn some money (will be put in ATM, with a notification in chat), proportionate to their contribution (ex: let's say only player A and B beat a raid boss with a final bounty of 100 000. Player A did 75% of the total boss damage, so he earn 75 000 (75% of the final bounty), while player B get 25 000) (do keep in mind that in practice, there will usually be more players, so everyone will get less cash than shown in this exemple). There could be multiple raid boss in various levels areas (the stronger the raid boss, the better is the bounty). This is to prevent very high level players "stealing" low level raid bosses. Or maybe have a level limit for certain low/mid raid boss, to prevent any players having a level too high to deal any damage to low-medium level bosses (while having enough boss level variety for every player). Of course, for the strongest raid bosses (plant monsters and great frog i think), there won't be a level limit yet (until further area + more enemies are added). Raid bosses does NOT drop any item, common or rare. It is only here for players to earn more money. I propose to have such events 3 times / day, separated by 8 hours each (several different raid bosses will spawn at once, not necessarly all of them)

5) have the shops having regular sales on certain gears (that change every day), to promote players having to check everyday the game for good deals. I'm not asking for 90% off though. Just 25% sales would be a good help.

6) i want to suggest fishing, but the current poor inventory system might make this hard to do (or make a separate fish inventory, to sell the fish in shops?). IF we manage to get it, make sure to only feature normal fish. NO SHINY WITH STATS.

7) might be ambitious. How about having certain areas having a class theme (ex: repguana represent more archers), with an area layout designed around a specific class, taking advantages of the class and it's skills. Maybe add some secret shops (like the one in haunted woods) for specific class gear.

8) in original helmet heroes, past robo city, it was just a very long way through a lot of strong enemies, with no possible way of resting. I think there should be at least one more city. Maybe somewhere between repguana area and volcanic area

9) another idea is to make the late game areas less linear, to make sore of them more accessible from robo city, by going in other directions.

10) there could be a "hide and seek" minigame in specific areas, where players need to find a specific special coin box (that will spawn temporarly in a random location). Players first gather at the starting point, near a NPC. When the event start, they have a limited time to search the area (ex: if the event started at the training ground, the players only need to search the training grounds). This is a race competition between players: whoever hit the block 1st get the best price, 2nd get a little lower, and so on (note: ONLY players participating will see the special coin box). Coin prices depends of the area (and the danger level). Ex: for the training grounds, the prices could be: 1 000 for 1st, 900 for 2nd, ... and 100 for 10th, nothing for the others (numbers might change, depending on the game's popularity in the future). For blue mushroom area (right side), the prices could be: 10 000 for 1st, 9 000 for 2nd, ..., and 1 000 for 10th, and nothing for the rest. This event will happen simultaneously accross all areas (each player who want to participate need to be near a specific NPC of their chosen area of search), and happen 2 times a day (12-hour cooldown).

11) add a list of every players that is currently online globaly (regardless of the areas they are). From this list, it would be possible to see where each player is (which general area),or to start a PM (unless option is disabled). I will keep trades offers with physically close players

- BLACKLISTED FEATURES: there are certain things from original helmet heroes that should NOT be brought back in reborn (mostly because they caused a horrible reputation, caused the game to be P2W and ruined the game for the majority of the players. we don't want to repeat the same mistakes):

1) no books to increase stats. We don't want to play just for "booking". And *when* PvP will come up, we don't want to fight players who have been booking 24/24 for months. Let personal skills decide who win, not who made the most absurd grind.

2) no pets. no, having to build extremly expensive pets (especially with the luck mechanic) is a terrible idea. it only favored the very rich players back then. It will only do the same here.

3) blacklisted items for payvault: being able to buy money (straight p2w), increased sale value (i guess it is too late already to prevent this p2w bs), x2 drop rate (also too late to prevent this p2w), more inventory (same opinion than the previous items), paid item vendor (we want the same feature from Eliatopia, with free accessibility at anytime for anyone), x3 guild money (another bs p2w mechanic). Basically, we want a game that is accessible AND fun for EVERYONE, not just for the extrmely rich players.

4) for future enemies: no broken strength scalling. we don't want to grind an enemy for 50 levels, just to be able to fight the new enemy.

As a reminder: i am NOT forcing everyone to "agree" with me on every suggestions. If you have a question, an improvement, or you see a problem with one of my suggestions, feel free to add to the discussion (i added numbers to my suggestions for a reason). However, if you do have a problem with a sugestion / or if you strongly disagree, i expect you to give me a good explanation. Saying "this sugestion is bad" doesn't help anyone.
