Whipmaster Skill: Mark of the Whipmaster
Yeah this and an M skill would be pretty useful for the whipmaster. HONESTLY it makes sense for this to be the "crit class", as finesse WAS supposed to be dexterity at some point, it makes sense that perfecting the whip would make it more possible to critically wound enemies.

I can't exactly say whether an M skill would actually be useful or not. People don't think too highly of Magic Breath despite it having the highest DPS a mage can get.cinos wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 6:34 pmYeah this and an M skill would be pretty useful for the whipmaster. Drones, Leaf shield + Arrow Rain, Ninja Slash, all of those want a talk with you about their usefulness.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:46 pmI can't exactly say whether an M skill would actually be useful or not. I mean, sure, but we have to look at BOTH sides of the spectrum, not just that one side.cinos wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:56 pmDrones, Leaf shield + Arrow Rain, Ninja Slash, all of those want a talk with you about their usefulness.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:46 pmI can't exactly say whether an M skill would actually be useful or not. Both implies there's only two, this is merely one crappy skill in a sea of actually good ones.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:58 pmI mean, sure, but we have to look at BOTH sides of the spectrum, not just that one side.cinos wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:56 pmDrones, Leaf shield + Arrow Rain, Ninja Slash, all of those want a talk with you about their usefulness.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:46 pm

The solution is making magic breath not shιτ, and yes, that means we need to make it do MORE damage, or LESS MP.

No mate. Both implies that there are two sides of the coin: good and meh. Also, Magic Breath isn't really that bad; it has the highest DPS of all mage skills (it currently peaks at 90% base damage, and it still hits 5x per second. Storm Cloud ain't got jack on that).cinos wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 11:16 pmBoth implies there's only two, this is merely one crappy skill in a sea of actually good ones.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:58 pmI mean, sure, but we have to look at BOTH sides of the spectrum, not just that one side.

Re: Whipmaster Skill: Mark of the Whipmaster
Okay but the difference is that storm clouds are simultaneous entities that do damage alongside your melee, orbs, and other moves, alongside allowing free movement, while magic breath just does decent damage with a huge MP cost, and you can't really move while using it.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 12:36 pmNo mate.
