Seen this guy over the past few days, watched him for quite some time to make sure he was botting. Here's the video.

You don't receive xp for damage dealt by the shield. It's not really serious, even if he was really standing there in afk.

No. Botting is using a program to imitate a human action. Here it is simply using a skill that is in game.

Didn't know about the shield damage not giving xp, I'm a noob myself. Definitely possible he's using a more advanced bot with keyboard inputs (walking) to keep him in the corner imo. And it's still pretty annoying that it's ok to drop all of the loot and gold from not interacting with the game as a human. Not something I would want in my game so I brought attention to it.
