Trading Money Bug/scam
I don't know how do they does it but I just got scammed earlier with this bug with the money trade, I was selling Poison 3 rune for offer then this dude "Kylie----" (i don't remember the whole IGN but it starts with that), He/she traded me and I showed the P3 rune then He showed 800k then accepted it and I also accepted it then when the trade happened, I only got 170k despite the money shows 800k on the offer. I double checked first before I accepted it but ya, it became 170k.

That bug is:
when on a trade you don't see other player adding/removing money until he/she stops press button. If player keeps it pressed, other one don't see any change with the amount. So in your case he stopped pushing add button at 800k and after that he started to pushing "'-'' button to remove as much money as he could until you pressed confirm button. And that's all.

Does anyone have more info about if a trade scam is possible? Are you saying they were able to edit the trade after a "confirm" was already made?

Re: Trading Money Bug/scam
Like Geralt said, the amount of coins being offered in the trade do not update on the other players end until the player adding/subtracting the coins stops. (If I continuously hold down to add coins from $0-$1,000,000 in a trade with you, you will not see any coins added until I STOP holding down the button). So In this case I would suspect the player added the 800,000 coins, then began to subtract them. As they were subtracting them, this player (who got scammed), pressed confirm, therefor they weren't able to see the updated amount of coins being traded until they had already confirmed (forcing the other player to stop subtracting) and it was too late.
