48hour player challenges

So i think it would be neat to have some global challenges that players can participate in and do something else for a change. These challenges will be a global competition, meaning every player is competing against each other. So heres how i think it should work.
There will be a "bank" of challenges and rewards (rewards should be scaled with the economy), and every 48hours a new random set of 3 challenges from the bank are selected, and assigned a random set of rewards each. The challenges are something along the lines of "most [X] kills in 48hours" or "most money spent at [X NPC] in 48hours". After the 48 hours and the challenges are over, the top 3 players from each one will receive a prize, and 3 new challenges will start.
Example of some challenges and rewards:
Challenge 1:
Most logons killed
1st Place- player 1 with 1,030 kills - reward 15 emeralds
2nd Place- player 2 with 807 kills - reward 8 emeralds
3rd Place- player 3 with 480 kills - reward 4 emeralds
Challenge 2:
Most XP earned
1st Place- player 1 with 102,050 xp earned - reward 1 Jungle Bow
2nd Place- player 2 with 80,560 xp earned - reward 1 Reaper Hood
3rd Place- player 3 with 75,020 xp earned - reward 1 Fiber Glass Staff
Challenge 3:
Most pvp kills (This can currently be cheated using alts, but just an example)
1st Place- player 1 with 104 kills - reward 1,000,000 coins
2nd Place- player 2 with 65 kills - reward 500,000 coins
3rd Place- player 3 with 32 kills - reward 250,000 coins
The challenges can range from the ones above to "most [insert any mob here] killed", to most kills in general, pretty much anything that cant really be "cheated". (for example something that can be cheated is "most items bought" since you can just buy like arrows or something, where as "most money spent" cant really be cheated like that). The rewards should also range from emeralds to items (including runes and stones) to coins, and should be scaled with the economy to make the challenges actually worth doing, but obviously not op.

Thanks, I do think these are surely cool idea. I plan to add things such as these whenever I eventually get to adding a hall of fame.

Support! I feel like this could have players move around the map rather than just being in the highest level areas.

As i like challenges, i would be carefull with giving emeralds for them, especially every 48h. Most of them will be easily abused by OP/known/rich players so as for every challenge there should be specific requirements- power, lvl etc.
