Okay sepharims and biblical angels in general are some of my favourite creatures, but I find it a bit silly how you're trying to make the final boss beyond Xantis be moonchyllus, LAST MINUTE. I find that to be a rather unwise choice, not to mention a cheap attempt to make your character be more important than the main villain, who has been hyped up for years.
See this is why I suggest you take the whole "spirit realm" road with moonchyllus. We can actually have a Xantis boss in both the physical plane and ethereal spirit plane that way, alongside expanding the game a tad bit with some trippy alternate dimension imagery, AND maybe having your waifu in there too, without being too intrusive to the narrative so far by LITERALLY shoehorning her into the "final boss".
Imo this whole thread completely ignores how the brains are said to work, plus the potential of Xantis's spirit living on, all for the sake of adding a final boss as pointless as FFX's.
This is a major no, and frankly I'm disappointed that you're getting as persistent as possible with your character somehow being the most important, despite having all her lore retconned, and you pretty much having her planned as an "upcoming boss" for a year now, saying she'll be here for every base we raid ingame, now to the point where you expect her to be the whole point, despite NOT EXISTING for most of the story now.
Plus, think about it, would robby add a "final boss" you pretty much spoil on the forums? No, he won't, discuss this privately with him if you have any hopes of the character being added. This is just getting ridiculous.

tl;dr Moonchyllus is not the end all be all of the game, stop pretending she is.

Funnily enough, I had considered a final boss similar to what is coming up. With the Sacred Energy Shard's text color hinting at Moonchyllus being the Shard itself, I figured it was time to reveal what I had in mind.

The first phase is basically a slightly more complex version of what is already mapped out: players fight against Xantis, where they would receive the help of various story NPCs in order to enact the Third Rebellion. I would imagine he'd fight similarly to my Moonchyllus battle concept, including teleportation.

The second phase, on the other hand, after Xantis' defeat, you face off against Moonchyllus herself, where you see her true, incorporeal self: just eyes in the spiritual plane itself. She would fire off eye lasers and send in two monsters: Seraphim and Hyper-Stalagmites. I had already drawn the Seraphim and put it in another thread, but for the record...

This mob is basically a biblical angel, best known for the description of burning your eyes the moment it reveals itself. For it's stats, hmm...

Name: Seraphim
HP: 4000
Defense: 200
Power: 450
Fire Power: 270
EXP: 1117
Weight: 0 lbs (ethereal)
Eliapedia Entry: This monster seems to be produced by the Sacred Energy Shard itself as its defense mechanism. Very little biological information can be found on the Seraphim as they were formed very soon after the truth was revealed by the Renegade Wize. What can be known about the monster is this monster is made purely out of spirit energy. A single energy wave from the Seraphim can destroy a Titanium Droid in one hit. This monster's power even outclasses tanks. A faint feminine presence can be felt from the Seraphim. Maybe the Sacred Energy Shard's consciousness is female itself?

Drop List

Energy Drink (suggested consumable; 80 MP): $360; 10%; 36
Priest Sandals: $852; 10%; 85.2
Priest Hat: $8371; 1%; 83.71
Priest Robe: $8371; 1%; 83.71
Priest Pants: $8371; 1%; 83.71
Paladin Shoes: $27003; 0.5%; 135.015
Retribution: $74088; 0.5%; 370.44
Priest Wand: $110592; 0.25%; 276.48
Paladin Shield: $139709; 0.2%; 279.418
Caliburn: $143765; 0.2%; 287.53
Paladin Helmet: $211584; 0.1%; 211.584
Paladin Armor: $211584; 0.1%; 211.584
Paladin Legs: $211584; 0.1%; 211.584
Priest Staff: $322186; 0.1%; 322.186
Stage 3 Fire Rune: $3; ???
Stage 4 Fire Rune: $4; ???
Stage 5 Fire Rune: $5; ???

Total Loot Value: 2678.151

As for Hyper Stalagmites, well, they'd be just like my Super Stalagmite concept, only they'd be glowing white like Hyper Sonic instead of yellow like a Super Saiyan or Super Sonic. Mhmm.

While the other stuff may have chances of a conflict, this is the part where I know for sure wouldn't cause any conflicts: the Drop List. For Xantis, I had imagined items that would be fitting of a tyrannical ruler no short of 1984. This be it.:

Thank you for understanding, and I get your concern, all I say is that you should perhaps incorporate the character in a meaningful way that does not stampede all over the actual narrative. Of course, you get that now, I don't need to repeat it, but whatever you think of, keep it between you and robby, rather than the forums. Keep forum threads to items and enemies, not very plot important stuff like this, since it's clear robby has been planning this aspect of the game for a while now.

there you go

As angry as your response is, I can tell that you're genuinely concerned for my doings. And I respect you for it, bro. Kinda tearing up right now, actually. Almost as if you're the only one who actually had genuine concern about me and what I've become. I wish I can even... Hug you right now... Though I will explain some background to what I had here.

Back when Moonchyllus was just expected to be the Nature Factory boss, which you and I both would agree that it would've been the best decision for her in particular, I had two rematches for her. One where she would serve as not a major boss but rather a mid-boss (a la Lumbercore), in which she would use one of each and every class' skills against you, and what is presented now. My persistence with her, while admittedly getting out of hand, had reason to it. Unlike what we got throughout the game's history, I didn't just want to make a boss or a "waifu" as you would call her. I wanted to make a character with significance to the game, and Moonchyllus is legit the most developed entity I had ever made for the game. I wanted her to be memorable, man! I didn't want her to be like Multiplex Cortex: completely forgettable with zero buildup whatsoever! I didn't want to let her go because it would be like, well, throwing away my most valued piece of artwork. I just couldn't. I just can't let the game continue to just throw away characters and be left with, I dunno, hardly any memorable characters!

And that's where I am now; refusing to give up on what was my most valued, most developed work. I don't want it all to go to waste; I really don't. Don't you understand how that feels? I know you wanted me to Flying Battery it, but at this late in the game, there's no way I can! I tried to tell you that several months ago!

Cinos... I really admire that you're doing your best to help me... I really do...
Thank you for understanding, and I get your concern, all I say is that you should perhaps incorporate the character in a meaningful way that does not stampede all over the actual narrative. Of course, you get that now, I don't need to repeat it, but whatever you think of, keep it between you and robby, rather than the forums. Keep forum threads to items and enemies, not very plot important stuff like this, since it's clear robby has been planning this aspect of the game for a while now.

there you go
Thank you... Again... I know people say I can't take criticism, but the thing is, you're everything I wish a critic was: constructive, understanding, and to the point.

I appreciate that, and I respect that you are willing to self reflect, unlike some people.
