Guildless PVP area between Tropics and Shroom

Post by cinos » Tue Feb 15, 2022 10:12 am

Now, HEAR ME OUT. I've had this idea for a while, and have been discussing it for ages, but I think I've found a way to make it a double whammy, reliable area. A guildless pvp forest from the tropics to the shroom borough, with the exit only being open if you have talked to biggs to prevent sequence breaking, made to look like the Helmet Heroes PVP forest, signs and all.
Why? Well, no it's not JUST shameless nostalgia, first it would make total sense for the HH tribute area to lead into...well, another one, but it would also clearly indicate that this area has a different feel and ruleset. Much like the original forest, which HAD free PVP, it is a place where guildmates spar with eachother, guilds do not apply here, so why not make that obvious with a more lush environment, as opposed to the harsher, clearly war-ridden forbidden forests, which require guilds of people to protect eachother in order to travel faster.
I believe the entrance should be placed somewhere around the illegal yard sale, to the left since that is the closest path torwards the borough.

Please consider this, or atleast SOMETHING like this. I believe it will greatly benefit guildmates who wanna spar, since right now it's not too uncommon to have people who wanna train in pvp leave their guild, and when they come back to rejoin they are locked out the guild house due to the clock. A simple guildless pvp area would solve this issue, no more having to quit a guild to fight a guildmate, just go to the area that allows it.
Ontop of that, seeing as shroom borough is gonna be the next city in the game, a faster route IS the way to go, since as it is now you have to travel quite a bit, which is something the interconnected forest of templar and alion helped with greatly. Both of these aspects make the game more fun and more convenient, in all regards.
WELCOME TO THE AGE

Support. The walk from the city to the borough takes 6 minutes if you passed all the parkours on the first try and you have no fitness.

I'm in support of a guidless pvp area, though I don't know if right now is the right time to add it since the player count is so low and the existing pvp area is already so dead. I don't know if its a good idea to spread out the already vastly dwindling pvp players into another area, especially one so far away.

As for the shortcut, I have and idea I plan to make a suggestion at some point about it. So no support on that part, not because I don't support a shortcut because I do, but I don't really think making it ANOTHER pvp area is really the best option. Plus if it goes from the yard sale, it's really not that much of a shortcut since that takes a few minutes in itself to get to.

Yep you're right, plus parkour on puffs makes it way harder for mobile players. I'd rather watch it with path from Alion through one tropical area, ending in shroom city.
