Post by MrQuiwito » Tue Jan 18, 2022 3:27 pm

They need to stay on floor for less time or get a cooldown, its really ez to grind or camp pvp with them

true

Longer Drone duration
maybe traps should last for 1-5sec or something

What's their current duration?

No support on either of those. I wouldn't be opposed to a limit of say 8-10 at once just because of pvp. Traps are really not op, they are only OP in 1 area which just happens to be the current top area which is why it feels like they are OP.

They're good zoning out the opponent tool in pvp - Furthermore, with multiple players dropping traps all over the place, it's hard to tell if it's from someone that's from your guild or another. I've gotten 1 shot in PvP because of it. I didn't know whose trap it was. Not much room left to walk when there are too many traps all over the place and you find maybe this one was from guildmates, and rip the next moment.

Scrap bots happen to be the highest level content available currently, so the benefits are more obvious there.

They're useful for every leveling phase of the game because you can drop them all over the place, come back, loot, drop more- All without being there for it. rinse repeat

This is easy, just add invulnerability for a few seconds whenever you changes zone, to avoid entrance camping

What about when you're leaving a zone? they can drop at exit

Differently than most of you i am gonna agree with MrQuiwito. I'e seen many times how OP thay can be if you can drop multiple of them in one spot-no limit of usage means gunman can just run around and drop dozens of them without having to aim at any enemy. No offence guys but defending clamps only by gunmans ony proves that they are to OP and should be nerfed(lower damage, max drop amount and faster disappearence).

proves jack, I'm not a gunman, you've been away for too long and probably did not notice. I still don't think they need a nerf.

Are you sure about it?. The fact i didn't log on my main for a long time and didn't post by that time doesn't mean i wasn't somewhere around ''hiding in the shadow'' and watching. In both cases grinding and PVP gunman is the easiest and most OP class to deal mobs and other players with highest RPM and maxed weapon.
