Well here goes another suggestion based of famous rpg games

So runed drops. When killing an enemy with gear or weapon drops there will be a slight chance of it being runed. Now runed armor gets rarer the higher level it has. But for weapons it’s different. Imagine the weapon is a sword. Well the sword with e1 will be the most common (very ez to get ) 2nd p1, 3rd s1 and last is f1. For a maxed runed sword, it’s like very very very very rare.

If y’a don’t like that one here’s another version

So imagine grinding crabs they drop h1,f1,e1, bungee cord, and red archer armor.

There will be a slight chance for the bungee cord to have the runes that the crab drops. Y’a understand?

Like stalagmites drop s1 and glock but the glock cannot have f1 with it because it’s not in the drops of it.

AMULETS they can’t be bought in a store but are just drops
Ideas

Regen amulet
Luck amulet
Swiftness amulet
Defense amulet

You may only choose 2 amulets because you have 2 arms

I'd actually prefer something like a ring or something since those are the best kinds of special rpg items...but any kind of hand accessory would be too small to see and a bit of a pointless hassle to program.

I guess rings could work

I can see this being the reason both rings and amulets would be left out. I had one idea back when Jakub brought up rings, which was to give the rings two different sprites: one for their drop/inventory sprite and one for when a player equips them. I only made three rings: a wedding ring, a Green Lantern parody ring, and a carboard ring intended to be a sort of "cereal box ring."
