Halloween Event and Moonlight Set

Heya. So, this isn't anything required or anything given the early status of the game. I just felt it would be a good way to have fun with the players while the game's being developed. Basically, the idea is for a Halloween event to be implemented into Eliatopia (or any seasonal event for that matter). Here's what I got.:

Image

What you're seeing here is a Pumpkin Helmet. Yeah, that's what I decided to go with for the Halloween deal. It's a little rushed, but it's better than my first attempt. As for the candy, since Halloween is apparently about trick-or-treating, might as well have every monster drop candies at about the same rate as Squishers dropping sticks or something. It's candy; what were you expecting?

That aside, I also made a seasonal monster: the Pumpkin Creeper.

I had to take some major liberties with this guy given my intention to give the creeper a jack o' lantern look. Given the game's art style focuses on a more puppetlike look akin to the Canadians of South Park, jack o' lanterns unfortunately wouldn't mesh well with a puppetlike style. Anyway, here's the info.:

Name: Pumpkin Creeper
Scientific Name: Cucurbita Ambulando (Latin for "walking gourd")
Height: 6.5 feet/1.98 meters
Weight: 1050-1200 lbs/476.3-544.3 kg (Taken from various pumpkin weight estimates; I determined that the pumpkin's three measurements would add up to 956 cm, or 376.4 inches)
HP: 666
Defense: 31
Power: 31
EXP: 171 EXP (34.3 base EXP * 5 for Seasonal rarity)
Rarity: Seasonal (5x-10x EXP/Gold)
Description: Every Halloween on Earth (we still haven't determined Eliatopia's orbital period), Eliatopia would bear witness to the Pumpkin Moon: a lunar eclipse that gives rise to Pumpkin Creepers. Dissections done on Pumpkin Creepers showed no sign of internal organs, implying that Pumpkin Creepers were pumpkins that were possessed through otherworldly means. Pumpkin Creepers primarily feed on sugarcane crops, fruits aside from pumpkins and squash, cacao pods, and several species of squisher. This diet led them to inexplicably poop out candies. Despite this, pumpkin creepers are tough enough take petunia bites and bear attacks without injury; bear in mind that petunias are strong enough to send people flying. Physically, a pumpkin creeper can go toe to toe with a bull.

I should point out that the EXP formula I used prior to changes in how monster EXP was given out was this.:

EXP=sqrt(HP/4+Power²+Defense²)*0.75

Not sure if the same EXP formula's still being used or not. You're gonna have to fill me in if you're reading this, Robby.

As for the drops, here's what I got.

1. Candy (as common as squisher sticks)
2. Pumpkin Helmet (uncommon or rare)
3. Moonlight Wand (rare)
4. Moonlight Sickle (rare)
5. Moonlight Bow (ultra rare)
6. Moonlight Scythe (ultra rare)
7. Moonlight Staff (ultra rare)
8. Moonlight Grieves (rare)
9. Moonlight Helmet (ultra rare)
10. Moonlight Armor (ultra rare)
11. Moonlight Legs (ultra rare)

Yes, the Moonlight set being part of the Pumpkin Creeper's drop list for the event. Speaking of which, here it is.:

The wand and staff are already in the game. I also recreated the bow; here's what the original Moonlight Bow looks like.:

Given the existence of both the wand and the bow in Helmet Heroes, I decided to go the same route Robby had with the Beholder Set: create everything under the sun for the theme. Unfortunately I cannot come up with a good design for a Moonlight gun, so I stopped at the sickle and the scythe. Yeah, I went with a sickle and a scythe because I felt they fit the whole moonlight idea the most.

But yeah, there ya have it.
