Improving the Fernip

Okay, so the Fernip barely has anything going for it. It has an interesting drop pool, sure, but at the same time, it doesn't have many options but a poison breath that only does poison damage, plus a Mandrake's legs are meatier than the Fernip's stem. Let's see how it can be patched up.:

Here's my depiction of a Fernip. I've given the thing a thicker stem and a pair of vines that it would slam down on foes. This added bulk and extra method of attack option should make the Fernip more challenging, at least on paper. The head design shows the Fernip looking down, as if facing the player head-on. Now, should the vine thing be added, here's what I think its attack power would be.:

Power: 1->175

With that kind of power, the Fernip would definitely show players that it is not to be messed with. Mhmm.

Of course I am thinking that its extra stem bulk might bump up its endurance a bit, so here's an added item drop to balance out its predicted endurance buff from the added bulk.:

Rosethorn Whip: $7453; 0.5%; 37.625

So yeah, there's that.

basically an overpowered petunia with 18 poison damage

Yep. It is. It's funny how Robby defaults to 1 for monsters that don't deal regular damage to players while the Squisher, which CAN attack with normal damage, has a power of 0.
