Warrior skill to help with pvp i guess
Parry:Projectiles will have a yellow outline (could be any volor, but yellow seems good. Maybe purple even) and warriors will be able to parry those projectiles. Parrying projectiles will cause those projectiles to be struck back, not directly to the player/monster that shot it. But just sling it back towards em. When hitting someone with their own projectile, they will be struck with the same damage of the projectile they shot.
This has a .2s cooldown (.1 maybe? People spam poop on warriors like a firing range) no MP cost, as this is basically just a block-type move. Only 1 level.
Skill tree to parry;
Powerful:Parrying strikes now have more velocity (8%) and deal about 4% more damage. The sole purpose of skill is to make striking back opponents a bit easier.
Levels:
velocity/speed increase: 8%. damage increase:4%
2: 19%/12%
3: 24%/21%
4: 36%/28%
Skill tree to powerful:
Slid Strikes:parrying projectiles is now faster. No cooldown, and projectiles parried now slightly curve to targets. Velocity is increased more but at the cost damage.
You can now endlessly parry on projectiles and travel speed is more faster. Projectiles you parry curve slightly to random targets
Levels:
Velocity/speed increase: 14% damage decrease:8%
2: 27%/16%
3: 41%/28%
4: 71%/41%
Note:parried projectile damae does not stack with rage

Ok here are my thoughts, first of all parrying won't help warriors. If they fail to parry on time, they will suffer by eating incoming those incoming attacks as punishment. 2nd, 2 seconds is OP.
I think a mobility skill would help them a lot on PvP, they have nuke lmb attack dmg. Perhaps a shadow movement or a dash skill?
Shadow movement :
Thoughts:
Your character will be pulled under the ground and be teleported after a 1 second delay to a specified area you pointed the skill at.
- Cast has free aim
- Cooldown of 3 seconds.
- Cast range varies per stage of skill.
- Last skill stage induces "slow" debuff on surroundings. [Lasts for 2 seconds.]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dash skill:
Character dashes on desired direction.
- Cast has free aim
- Cooldown of 3 seconds.
- Cast range varies per stage of skill.
- Last skill stage will induce "stun" on player/ enemy hit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another skill that might be good combo with the dash skill:
Ethereal slash
Your character stops for a moment, then releases a waves of slash.
- Number of slash varies per stage.
- Cooldown of 3 seconds
- Immediate execution
- Damage multipliers [maybe x10 at max stage?]

- End

My illustration looks dumb. LOL
Just a little header of what I have in mind.

Parrying is a nice idea. Why not? I don't recall any parrying move ever increasing mobility, however (unless we're talking about Cuphead, but that game had nothing to do with swordfighting). Of course with how confusing hitboxes can be at times, it would be tricky to get the idea of parrying to work unless we got it to work like the Counter attack from various Fire Emblem characters in Smash Bros: a temporary invincibility deal that allows you to actually parry/counterattack.
In any case, support.

it's 0.2 seconds, nearly no cooldown. I'd also want you to think a cowboy with a pellet spitter trying to kill a warrior. not that op, also this is more like a defensive skill rather than an offensive

Unironically as a big fan of parrying in games...I'll hafta pass.
Why? Well, I never blocked in Helmet Heroes, never blocked in ANY MMO actually, because usually it's best to just deal damage. I don't think a parry would help the warrior, guy just needs that dash attack and whatever other solid buff he can get.

Re: Warrior skill to help with pvp i guess
Warriors just now got something more instantaneous for the dash part: it's called Ninja Slash, and it's an AoE attack.

And it seems like the cureall he needed, some kind of way to catch up! Can't wait to see this in pvp, warrior matchups are gonna be interesting.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 17, 2021 2:13 pmWarriors just now got something more instantaneous for the dash part: it's called Ninja Slash, and it's an AoE attack.
