I don't like how the camera will only move when you're near the end of the screen. It makes it riskier to move around in new areas or places that have lots of enemies because I cant see exactly where im going or whats ahead of me. Can we change the camera so that our character doesn't have to go closer to the end of the screen for it to move? I think it would be beneficial for the player.

No. The game is designed in a way where this would be impossible.

Well rip then. I will continue to die to off screen mandrakes until i have better defense.

I'm pretty sure mandrakes don't have that range. I think the only way to die to an off screen mandrake is if you accidentally roll into one or you're looking somewhere else while traveling to another place. Also, make sure you've zoomed all the way out so you can see better. To do so, go to options and you'll see a slider to adjust the zoom level.
