Basic buffs for each class except archers

Small suggestion:

Instead of only giving 3 points of basic stats at the beginning, we could add something more for each class except archers.

Mages: +10 mp and +5 hp at level 1
Warriors: +10 hp and +3 defence at level 1
Gunmen: +5 expertise at level 1

Why? Because archers are too strong and get a lot more money than other classes, they also grind faster and easier due to their skills and long-range. Also, most of the payers prefer being archers, so hopefully this will change their minds.

This would get messy for for skill resets. You could just start as 1 of these classes, get the extra points, then reset and become archer. And also if you reset into 1 of these classes, you wouldn't get the extra points.

1. That would mess both with stat point resets and Robby's intention of allowing everyone to have equal stat points.
2. What Vanilla said.
3. Only reason archers are as powerful as they are now is Arrow Hoard and the fact that archer gear surpassed every other piece of armor statwise. If it weren't for that, we wouldn't be here now, would we?

So no support.

You are right, that's what I was thinking too. My suggestion is when you reset, the extra points will simply disappear. It's kinda a nerf for resets: you chose a class and if you don't like it, too bad! You had a little buff for your class, if you reset then it will disappear, no more buffs!

For example, you chose to be a gunman and got 5 extra points of expertise at the beginning. You then wanted to reset, after resetting to an archer, you will lose the extra points of expertise.

I do like the idea of each class having different stats, but due to the way the game is built, it just seems like a weird thing to do. If there were a lot more classes and if the stats did something other than extra damage, then maybe I could see this being a thing, but otherwise, no.

Good luck with that. The only class I've figured out how to make unique from all the others so far are Whipmasters, and that's because of its range, skillset, and use of a Super Smash Bros mechanic (the Tipper mechanic).

Yes, as others have mentioned I want to keep all classes on equal playing fields, so this would mean making sure all classes start with equal points.

With that being said, I am possibly thinking about having each class get 4 skill points per level, so that would help increase starting points.

What about nerfing the skill that adds money. Instead of adding it minuses. Why? Because loot chance skill is OP.
Skill nerf
Lessen the mobs money.
Lvl 1 -50% of mobs money
Lvl 2 -30% of mobs money
Lvl 3 -15% of mobs money

What do you guys think?
