Any chance we'll see a dodge roll? It would have around 3-4x the player's initial speed, plus it won't cost any MP from how necessary it is. That should be fast enough to dodge those Auroch Beetles (which go about 2x the player's speed when charging).

Not everything has to be like other RPG's no matter how many things it borrows from other series.

well, probably less, like five or three are good enough to make em combat options instead of traverse town walking simulator without needing some kinda MP cost. Who would use a three second dash to walk around over running?

8 second cool down is way too long. There shouldn't be any cooldown because the animation of getting back up and starting to roll again will already delay the roll like 1 sec, but if you really want one then make it like 2 secs or less.
