Guild Suggestion Thread

Robby said he would like to add more features to guilds so I've come up with some ideas. (Also I am aware some of these have been suggested already, just trying to compile a list of everything I think would be a good addition)

General Guild Suggestions: (many of these suggestions build off of each other)

- A "Guild ATM". Everyone in the guild would have access to deposit into this ATM, but no one (including the leader) would have access to withdraw from this ATM, it would solely be used for purchasing these upgrades or the "guild shop", which would be done by the guild leader and anyone else who was given access to this permission inside the guild.

- A "Guild Shop". Perhaps located inside the guild house or in a different building entirely, this would be a shop with two main functions; 1) Purchase guild upgrades and 2) purchase guild additions and accessories. (more info below about this).

- Guild Chat. Pretty self explanatory, would be really nice though.

- Guild List. Another tab inside the friends list that instead of showing your friends, shows your guild.

- Guild Flags.

- Guild Bases (Idea courtesy of Artemis). Just little bases where only guild members can access, no significant use other than a hangout.

- More information in the Guild HUD when you are looking at guilds in the guild house. Things like "4/25 members online", How the guild ranks on the leaderboards, the guild officers/co-leaders (if added), etc.

- In-guild rankings. Having 4 tiers of guild mates, The Leader (only 1), Co-Leaders, Officers, and normal Members.

- Guild permissions. Going off of the above suggestion, have permissions that can be controlled (initially by the leader, but the ability to change permissions can be a permission in itself, but ofc the leader would maintain ultimate control). Things like accepting new members, promoting/demoting guild mates, altering the description and requirements, purchasing upgrades, purchasing from the guild shop, etc.

- Guild vs. Guild. This is pretty self explanatory as well, just competitions between guilds. Could be a pvp arena like in HH, specific challenges or events, anything like that.

- More guild leaderboards. Another self explanatory one, but things like GvG leaderboards (if GvG is added), total guild enemy kills, total guild pvp kills (non-gvg), most guild upgrades unlocked, etc.

How Guild Upgrades would work:

Guild upgrades could use a "tree" system, similar to player skills where each upgrade has multiple tiers and you must purchase each tier in order to upgrade to the next, just like when upgrading player skills. Also for Robby, Ik you said you didn't want to add an emerald pricing, but I'm not sure if you want to include a coin price for these or get rid of that as well, i'm going to include it but the idea can be customized and works the same without it. You can also include other requirements such as GvG kills and whatnot as well to customize it further.

Guild Shop - Upgrade Ideas:

Please keep in mind the numbers I've used here are PURELY for example purposes, the upgrades, costs, and requirements should be balanced to best fit the game

- Speed boost while near guild mates: Gain a speed buff while within x amount of space of a guild member
Level 1) Default
Level 2) 1.25x movement speed - Requirements and cost: 250 guild levels & 10,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 500,000 coins
Level 3) 1.5x movement speed - Requirements and cost: 750 guild levels & 50,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 1,500,000 coins

- Decrease cost to upgrade gear and weapons with runes/stones:
Level 1) Default
Level 2) 2% reduction in rune/stone upgrade cost - Requirements and cost: 500 guild levels & 25,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 500,000 coins
Level 3) 3% reduction in rune/stone upgrade cost - Requirements and cost: 750 guild levels & 75,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 750,000 coins
Level 4) 4% reduction in rune/stone upgrade cost - Requirements and cost: 1,000 guild levels & 100,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 1,000,000 coins
Level 5) 5% reduction in rune/stone upgrade cost - Requirements and cost: 2,000 guild levels & 300,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 2,000,000 coins

- Decrease damage taken in PvP:
Level 1) Default
Level 2) 1% reduction in damage taken in pvp - Requirements and cost: 500 guild levels & 25,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 250,000 coins
Level 2) 2% reduction in damage taken in pvp - Requirements and cost: 600 guild levels & 35,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 350,000 coins
Level 2) 3% reduction in damage taken in pvp - Requirements and cost: 700 guild levels & 45,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 500,000 coins

- Increased damage to mobs:
Level 1) Default
Level 2) 2.5% more damage done to mobs - Requirements and cost: 500 guild levels & 30,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 250,000 coins
Level 3) 5% more damage done to mobs - Requirements and cost: 1000 guild levels & 100,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 1,000,000 coins
Level 4) 7.5% more damage done to mobs - Requirements and cost: 1500 guild levels & 500,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 2,000,000 coins
Level 5) 10% more damage done to mobs - Requirements and cost: 2000 guild levels & 1,000,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 5,000,000 coins

- Increased Sell Price to shops: (stacks with the cowboy skill)
Level 1) Default
Level 2) 1% increase in item value sold to shops - Requirements and cost: 500 guild levels & 25,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 500,000 coins
Level 3) 2% increase in item value sold to shops - Requirements and cost: 800 guild levels & 55,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 750,000 coins
Level 4) 3% increase in item value sold to shops - Requirements and cost: 1,000 guild levels & 75,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 1,000,000 coins
Level 5) 4% increase in item value sold to shops - Requirements and cost: 1,500 guild levels & 150,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 2,500,000 coins
Level 6) 5% increase in item value sold to shops - Requirements and cost: 2,000 guild levels & 250,000 cumulative guild mob kills & 5,000,000 coins

Guild Shop - General Shop Ideas:

- Guild flags. Able to purchase a customization to your guild flag.

- Guild emote. Purchase an emote that the entire guild would be able to use: Only able to have 1 "active" emote at a time, if you purchase more than one it goes into your "guild emote bank" where you can change which emote is currently "active". Uses key "9". (these could be periodically released and discontinued for purchasing, but once purchased the guild will always have it in their "emote bank" unless the guild is disbanded)

- Purchase to unlock a cosmetic that can be used under the "cosmetic chooser" in the payvault. (is not otherwise available unless unlocked by the guild you are a part of)

- Cosmetics for guild bases (if they are added). Paintings, furniture, wall paper, stuff like that.

If anyone mentions any other good guild ideas below I will add them to this post to try and consolidate all of the ideas for Robby, and ill give u credit for the idea ofc. I'll also remove any ideas that are not liked so be sure to leave constructive criticism.

I like the idea of the guild shop and ATM, just hope to see some more ideas for it.

I usually talk with a couple guild mates everyday, so
adding the guild chat just seems like it would make it easier to chat with as well as meet others who I don't talk with often.

Not sure how easy it would be to make separate guild rooms, but I always liked the idea of having our own house/base(something I wished for in hh). I was thinking we could also purchase a slot machine in the base to gamble away with some guild mates.

Dunno about some of the guild upgrades like decreased damage in pvp and extra speed, but other than that, support for everything else. :p

Lots of good stuff....EXCEPT for the Guild hang out. Like if the game was big I would kinda support it but currently since Elia's going for actual player interraction this time I would rather not have people self isolate in what is practically those isolation rooms they've got at Konami, aka Kojima's room before he left and made a walking simulator.
Anyhow, yeah everything else is about what I expected. Guild flags, HUD elements and features that remind you of the guild's existence and form a sense of comradery? heck ye

Thanks for the suggestions! I do plan to add much more guild features in the future. They all sound pretty good, however I do always have a little trouble gauging what features will be truly utilized with guilds. Since I'm not really a player in a guild in this regards, it makes it hard for me to judge whether a particular guild feature is worth adding.

So that being said, it'd be cool if we could get a little more feedback from some players in regards to which of these suggestions they would really want to see added, and which ones they wouldn't care about as much (if any).

For example I've though about things such as guild hangouts. But then I question how much they would actually be used. I suppose it's hard for me to tell, so any input from other would be appreciated.

Also as a side note: I'm contemplating if it would be a good idea to increase guild max members, or leave them the size they are now. What's anybody think?
