Limited Items or Events

Just my suggestion: Because some of my other games if im one of the early players who played the game, they get free untradeable or tradeable items but it's limited like there's no way you can get it... I think that would be cool? 
Also some cool events? like for early players who played the game can get limited items... Because being early players is getting bored... I was like in the tree boss grinding logons every time i opened the game...
I wish there could be a cool event like a shop that will trade you limited items for like unique stone for the items...
like you can get the unique stone from monster drop so we can go somewhere else to make us busy...
Example:
25Unique stone = F1 Rune
50Unique Stone = F2 Rune
100Unique Stone = Limited Items (Can only get by participating in the event)
Also you can add like level, like Unique Stone Stage 1/2/3?
Ofcourse the tougher monster the higher Unique Stone Stage
