A new type of equipment enhancement

Artifacts: only 1 artifact can be added per equipment// Can be purchased on shop for x amount emeralds each or can be a dropped by x mob

Function: to make pvp and pve more challenging and fun. The main function of the artifacts is to add a new variety of builds for players to try. In this sense most artifacts adds in a miniscule amount of buff/debuff on armors/weapons. With only 1 artifact that can be added per armor this would test the players judgement and set building capabilities to try and combine artifacts with their own playstyle on pvp/pve. For example players need to choose between putting only a type of artifact to negate an opposing artifacts effect or choosing to combine multiple artifacts to create a set that can challenge another diverse set.


Cosmetic effect: adds trail effect/vfx

In game effect:

Wind artifact =
Weapon: Northern wind= +1-4 %attack speed (two handed weapons receive a 4% boost while dual wielded weapon receives a 1.5% boost)
Armor: Hurdle = increases movement speed by +1

Water Artifact=
Weapon: Pump= knocks back enemies with 100% chance of 2meters, 50% chance of4meters and 25% chance of-7meters ( pump activation % is cut in half while using dual wielded weapons 50% chance of 2meters, 20% chance of4meters and 12.5% chance of 7meters (stacks). While two handed weapons receives 100% activation rate from the original pump effect)
Armor: Tenacity = reduces knockback distance by -1.2

Earth Artifact=
Weapon: Mud Slap = reduces 1-5% attack speed on enemies
Armor: Defience = increases dodging capacity by 2%

Soul Artifact=
Weapon: Flay= does a 1% elemental boost, stacks with elemental boost and elemental damage
Armor: Requiem=negates elemental damage by +1% stacks with other elemental

Sun Artifact=
Weapon: Azimuth = adds glare effect, 1% chance to apply blinding to an opponent for 2 seconds (blinded, players will have -70% reduced accuracy)
Armor: Vanguard = +1% chance to dodge a critical hit
