Yes, buff the drop rates and make monster give better loot. Is a joke that the the strongest mob gives you drops of a teplar village monster, when the new gears cost millions.
This drops and drop rates doesn't make the game more harder makes it more tedious. :(

I mean...here's the thing, dropping RECENT GEAR should be this rare and hype thing, right? I hope you do not intend on making the second best gear in the game easily accessible, cause that'd be legit stupid. Mecha wing drops are hype for a reason, it is incredible loot, and that's why it is so rare. Something being hype requires it not being common. Same for forsaken, they are afterall pretty much the same set...MAYBE a shoe should be a little less rare, still pretty rare in comparison, but more rune-tier than LEGENDARY WING tier.

Loot system ain't that bad, heck I don't even have a problem with it. Coins will always be the primary source of income, loot is always just gonna be a bonus.

Well I don't really agree with farming a new set for 140-200 hours. It's pretty tedious.

Loot doesn't exist for grabbing a new set, it exists to make money. If somebody manages to grab mech wings before they have bought them, it is merely the exception that proves the rule.
Unless of course you are asking to completely murder the game's progression system.

I mean, thats like the only enemy that drops something like that though, at least to what I can think of right now, perhaps theres another. I do agree though, enemies shouldn't really be dropping recent equipment for the most part, and if it is it should be like steel blocks are with mecha wings, very rare, just like you are saying. But excluded that very rare circumstance, which basically is just an exception to the norm, drop rates could definitely use a solid boost. Grinding 200 hours for a set only to have to pay 50% more for the next set a few months later is not how the game should work IMO.

I perfectly understand the hype of getting something really rare; in fact, I have only found two shiny Pokemon ever on my own, not counting the scripted shiny Gyarados. Granted I used Friend Safari to get them, but 5 in 4096 is still a pretty low rate. But there's a line between difficulty and tedium.

With difficulty, there's a challenge and a satisfying reward for completing said challenge. The time you spent there is mostly you trying harder to overcome an obstacle.

With tedium, you're basically doing the same thing over and over and over ad-nauseum hoping that you can get something out of it, and by the time you get what you want, you hardly feel any satisfaction out of it. It took me four hours to kill 1000 Auroch Beetles to sell all my loot cheat-free (meaning no using a gun to mug someone) and net nearly $300000 from both coins and loot, and that's less than a sixth of the way to just buying a Forsaken Hammer. And after that, there's buying the rest of the set and runing the weapon. Yes, you don't have to get the Forsaken Hammer runed and you can just skip to the next weapon, but that's another $3.7 million you gotta save up. This is coming from a guy who isn't exactly "there."

And the time spent grinding is the time wasted trying to get the next thing you want to save up for when you could be doing something else with your time. If I want Mecha Wings, I can accept them being rare, but at the same time, I can NOT accept them being a waste of time.

Long story short, there's hype, and then there's wasting your time, and with how the loot system currently is, you're wasting your time.

That's what I wrote just now: there's a difference between being rewarded and having your time wasted.
