Ok, I made some more changes regarding things mentioned here. I gave the "magic breathe" skill a tiny damage buff for next update. I've also added one more branch for a new skill to the force field skill. :) I'm favoring adding more branches as opposed to buffing the existing ones, that way it makes for more skills and gives higher level players more things to upgrade.

I don't think magic breathe damage increase will help really. The skill itself is just not very helpful in the way it functions, mage needs a high damage skill that competes with arrow hoard, power smash, etc, not another damage-over-time skill. Another flaw with the magic breathe is that you are forced to be stationary to use it, and for an extended period of time since it is a damage-over-time skill. This makes you a sitting duck, aka you are dead or your forcefield pops if you try to use it because you have no choice but to sit there and take damage in order to attack (which is not very plausible if you are not a warrior). Currently mage is stuck to its normal attack being the most powerful attack it has, where every other class is using one-time high damage skills that do 100's of % multiples to their basic attack damage, that is the issue with mage right now.

When I say mage is un-playable at a high level right now, I quite literally mean I can grind saw guardians with 1 strength and a havoc better than having 300+ magic and 2 rainbow wands simply because mage has no attacks that can do any sort of meaningful damage that can compete even a tiny bit with arrow hoard or power smash type skills. I didn't realize how bad it actually was until I tried it. I literally switched back to warrior in a matter of hours because I could do anything at all as a mage. Out of everything I mentioned in this thread, the most important part is replacing magicbreathe with the fireball skill (or another skill that is at least somewhat comparable to powersmash/arrow hoard if you don't like the fireball one).

Mage just need a high damage skill like Arrow Hoard, Power Smash not a tiny buff to skill that almost do nothing and basic attack is better than it

@CrazyVanilla Ok thanks for the info. The new branch I added to the storm cloud may help some then. I'll just have to get some more feedback once next update comes out so players can use it. I'll have to take some more time to look into reworking/removing/or whatever the magic breathe skill, as that'll take more time.

In other news though, I got another branch added to the force field skill. So that makes 2 new branches to the force field skill that will be in next update now. :)

I have never seen a Wizard breathe fire tbh. Dragons, yes. Wizards, heck no.
And i have never seen a Wizard who fights and kill mobs/players more often like a melee hitting them with wands close range. (I mean, yes the wand can be used mid range -> Yes mid range not long range, but since when did wizards cast a slow moving spell? Normally its instant hit, or casting with instant hit, not slow moving orbs). Wizards are damage dealers from a far, not going in front of the battlefield coz we all know they break like glass. And the storm cloud, not targetable to an area, its on top of his freakin' head, making him pray someone goes in range of the lightning from the cloud

AND GOD! The bullying of mages, wizards by gunners, archers, warriors when grinding. They follow wizards everywhere using his shield to buff their own attack and then suddenly kill steals the mob where the wiz is targeting, and flashing a laugh after that, Where's justice in that? Happens everyday!
