Better gun accuracy

Post by Budle » Thu Dec 26, 2019 5:03 pm

Heyy. The bouncing mobs are a little too difficult to hit with long ranged weapons such as guns and bows. I hope to see more accurate weapons in future updates :D .
anyone agree or disagree?

Respect the work Robby :D

Yeah, I've noticed it is pretty annoying to hit an enemy from the sides, than it is to hit them from in front or behind. Not sure about bigger enemies like crabs, but I have noticed this with smaller enemies like the squishers.

Thanks for the suggestion. In a future update, I will have some things like shadows added which should help players tell where the bouncing enemies are in relation to the ground a bit better. Although these lighting features are a bit of work and I'm still not sure when I plan to add them at the moment.

That aside, I did just increase the size of the hit area for arrows and bullets by about 13%. The update will be present in today's patch. Hopefully it'll help a little. It probably won't make a world of difference, but it should help at least a tiny bit.
