Okay, so here's another something I built up. It was something I had in the backburner for quite awhile now. Now, I think it's time to show off the Four Beasts. I had given each beast one "ally beast." Now, first of all, all four beasts are part of a quest that allows you to fight a midboss. Now, see these?
Each of the four beasts will carry one of these gems. You can sell them if you want, but their main purpose is to unlock a new boss. To gain access to the gateway, you must put each of these four gems in their corresponding pedestals. Once all four are in place, you will open the gateway, allowing you to access the battle against the boss itself: Huanglong.
This will be the first use of key items since the id card back at the Muck Swamp Factory. Not only that, but this is also the first time important quest items will be dropped by mobs and be sellable at the same time. Mhmm.
As for the gems, you should get them at a drop rate of 1% from their respective beasts and a drop rate of 0.25% from their allies. Mhmm. Now, here goes.
Genbu
First up is the Genbu.
Yes, I'm making all the four beasts rideable. Anyway, the Genbu. The Genbu has the highest defense out of all the beasts. It also slams into foes with its hefty weight.
And here's a Genbu in action:
Now then, let's see how this goes...
Name: Genbu
HP: 1280
Defense: 270
Power: 320
Weight: 5400 lbs/2447.4 kg
Eliapedia Entry: The Genbu, or Black Tortoise, represents the northern region of the cosmos. On Eliatopia, the Genbu is a tortoise whose shell is the toughest material in all of Eliatopia. One plate of the Genbu's shell can take on the blade of a diamond-tipped buzzsaw without so much as a single scratch. A Kreeton's hide, which is tied with a Magmagon's gemstone as the hardest material in Helmetopia, is both softer and less tough than a Genbu's plated shell. The Genbu's beaked jaw is no joke either. The Genbu uses it to break through the shells of clams and Swamp Crabs. Given it is slow on land, it will still opportunistically eat whatever it can find, ranging from coconuts to the bones and exoskeletons of dead organisms. It doesn't take kindly to plastic and other forms of trash and will kindly throw it back at any litterbugs that tarnishes its habitat, or if push comes to shove, bite them in the d!ck. Many Eliatopians had been spayed and neutered by Genbus biting their dicks off.
Now, for the drops.

Now for its ally... The Kappa
Yes, the thing would wrestle players down rather than punch them. Look at their folklore.
Where?: North of Alion most likely.
When?: All day
HP: 540
Power: 256
Defense: 84
Height: 8.87 feet/2.7 meters
Weight: 1102.3 lbs/500 kg
Eliapedia Entry: Kappas are folkloric creatures back in Japan. While they do not naturally exist on Earth, kappas are plentiful in Eliatopia. It is believed that tales of kappas on Earth flourished when Moonchyllus introduced the creature to Japan a long time ago. Because they regularly overpowered grunts with their wrestling skills back in Eliatopia, Kappas tried their hand at drowning Japanese horses and cattle. These attempts were often unsuccessful, although the Kappas Moonchyllus introduced at the time were juvenile. Kappas aren't without intellect unlike most creatures. Kappas are about as advanced as ancient humans, having taken up written and spoken language and manners. They have taken up wrestling as a means of obtaining food, as they are omnivorous. They ate plants such as cucumber, eggplants, and squash. While they normally eat grunts, they have eaten humans when necessary. Kappas were taught how to manipulate souls and compress them into tiny balls by Moonchyllus, although for some reason Kappas tend to pull the soul out of one's rear end. Kappas themselves are immune to this effect.
Drops: Cucumber (cucumbers are a kappa's favorite food), Oriental Hat, Bo Staff, Ninja Hood, Ninja Gi, Ninja Pants, Ninja Socks, Kunai, Shinobi Hood, Shinobi Gi, Shinobi Pants, Shinobi Shoes, Katana, Soul Piercer, Reptile Shell, Taiko Drum, Black Gem of the East (0.25%), Stage 2 Hardening Stone, Stage 3 Hardening Stone, Stage 3 Water Rune
Azulong
Next up is the Azulong.
This guy uses an icy breath as an attack. He also headbutts and bypasses Protection Field to damage the player directly. Mhmm.
Name: Azulong
HP: 810
Defense: 64
Power: 350
Weight: 500 lbs/226.8 kg
Eliapedia Entry: The Azulong, aka the Seiryuu or Azure Dragon, represents the eastern region of the cosmos. On Eliatopia, the Azulong is a wise creature. It provides guidance to nature and those who follows it. At night, the Azulong would head up to the waterfall and drink the water. The water drank by the Azulong is said to have healing powers. The Azulong mainly eats fish from within the rivers and lake it drinks from. Unfortunately pollution and Xantis' desire for conquest had made the Azulong's numbers dwindle, rendering it an endangered species. The ones that attacked were most likely afraid that you're one of those entities that pollute or gun down anything in your path. How unforunate...
Now, for the drops.

Yeah, he's here. It was something I was wanting to make. And why not? It's a monster that has wings and makes use of the power of the wind to attack. Anyway... Here are his details.
Name: Tengu
HP: 840
Defense: 72
Power: 240
Fire Power: 180
Eliapedia Entry: The tengu is a creature of Japanese folklore. Tengu were once seen as demonic creatures that brought about war and disarray, but once I educated the people of ancient times about the tengu, they are seen as guardians of the mountains and forests. While not exactly gods by any means, Tengu were seen as such by small communities, and I can respect that. Tengu can make use of fireballs and make use their fans to stir up powerful winds. They usually use their magic for self-defense, but they sometimes use the tornadoes they make to catch fish, which are a staple to their diet. Tengu seem to enjoy eating catfish the most. They are skilled in martial arts; they can overtake an Auroch Beetle when the time calls for it. Tengu don't take kindly to Xantis' advances, which I like, but they won't hesitate to challenge a human if they sense strength in them.

Suzaku
After that, we have the Suzaku.:
Yep! It seriously killed a Gal Roach. Did I mention that the bird BUFFS ITS OWN ATTACK POWER?! It'll be pretty funny seeing players fight the Suzaku if it were added in the game. They'd be like "REEEE!!! ThAt biRD CrITiCaL-HitTeD mE To dEAtH!!!1!11!" How awesome is that?! Now, for its details...
Name: Suzaku
HP: 1500
Defense: 50
Power: 410
Fire Power: 285
Weight: 64 lbs/29 kg
Eliapedia Entry: The Suzaku, or Vermillion Bird, represents the southern region of the cosmos. On Eliatopia, the Suzaku is a powerful bird even though it is a glass cannon. So powerful are a Suzaku's attacks that they can oust a Gal Roach in a single hit with their fiery piercing attacks. They also have precision by their side. Be careful when fighting a Suzaku; they have a chance of landing critical hits on you. The Suzaku regularly feeds on fish and mollusks, but they won't hesitate to stab the ground to pull out potatoes and underground creatures such as gophers. When food is scarce, the Suzaku may grab some carrion lying on the ground. It's crimson wings can exceed 16 feet in wingspan, making the Suzaku a sight to behold when it soars through the air.

Now for its ally: the Fenghuang.
This monster has a unique mechanic. When you kill it the first time around, it'll immediately resurrect itself into a more powerful form. How awesome is that?!
Now, for its stuff...
Name: Fenghuang
HP: 64 (640 when Resurrected)
Defense: 16 (64 when Resurrected)
Power: 30 (300 when Resurrected)
Fire Power (Resurrected Form Only): 200
Weight: 12 lbs/5.4 kg (base); 0 lbs (resurrected)
Eliapedia Entry: The Fenghuang is a marvelous bird. As a species of phoenix, the Fenghuang has the ability to resurrect itself. It started off as an unassuming chicken, but once it gets killed, it resurrects itself into a mighty, ethereal bird with the power of the sacred fire. While they seem like adults, they are actually juveniles of a more powerful beast: the Houou. As an unassuming chicken, the Fenghuang ate seeds, insects, and insect larvae, but are more than willing to eat snakes. Genetic studies of the Fenghuang and Houou shows that they both have genes that allows them to eat Dumtilians; however, as Dumtilians weren't seen outside of the sewers as of yet, neither bird has been observed eating a Dumtilian or their carcasses. Eliatopians tried using Fenghuangs for their wings, but well-deserved complications made them give up and stick with farming Chirplets for their chickenlike meat.

Steelstriker
Now for the Steelstriker.:
Like the Azulong, the Steelstriker also bypasses Protection Field and damages the player directly. More challenging mobs, dangit! His design does have some similarities to Raikou, but how else was I supposed to get a Raijin-ish look for the tiger? That being said...
Name: Steelstriker
HP: 1600
Defense: 72
Power: 380
Weight: 480 lbs/217.7 kg
Eliapedia Entry: The Steelstriker, also known as the Byakko or White Tiger, represents the western region of the cosmos. On Eliatopia, the Steelstriker is a very powerful beast. While it is nowhere near the powerhouse that the Suzaku is, the Steelstriker has its fair share of power. The Steelstriker is a predator of Shellshockers and, occasionally, Auroch Beetles. There has even been instances of mutual predation between Steelstrikers and Scorpees, with the predator being the one who lands the first strike as while Steelstrikers are more than capable of eating Scorpees, Scorpee stings are highly toxic to Steelstrikers. The Steelstriker gets its name not only from its powerful strikes, but also because its fur contains a special kind of carbon fiber called "Damascus Steel." These fibers allow the Steelstriker to conduct electricity which, when combined with water vapor, allows the Steelstriker to form its own storm clouds. My creations are quite impressive creatures indeed.

Now, for the ally: the Kreeton.
He was more original of an idea than just going with a stupid golem. But yeah, here he is back and... Well, weirdly enough, cuter than ever. What are Kreetons, anyway? I mean the HH one looked like a butt with eyes all over, but still.
That being said, here goes.
Name: Kreeton
HP: 2500
Defense: 180
Power: 333
Poison Resistance: 9999 (Immune)
Weight: 13227.7 lbs/6000 kg (Actual weight figure given to me by Robby)
Eliapedia Entry: The Kreeton serves as an unlikely ally to the Steelstriker. While Steelstrikers are strong, carnivorous creatures, the Kreeton is a durable monster that serves as a cover for the Steelstriker as the Kreeton is immune to all poisons. The Kreeton's hide is the hardest material on Helmetopia alongside the jewel of a Magmagon. This had made it tough for people to smelt armor with their hide. While Beholders were rendered critically endangered on Helmetopia, Kreetons managed to resist and adapt by growing less eyes. They used to have 16 eyes, but now they only have 8. Since they seem to lack a mammalian mouth, Kreetons either used filter-feeding to eat algae and other forms of phytoplankton and zooplankton, or pulverized whatever food they can into a slush that they can slurp up. Kreetons sometimes went to coastal waters to eat red tide, which, while normally highly poisonous, is harmless to the Kreeton.

Now... For the big guy himself...
Huanglong
Okay, so the deal with him goes like this...:
You need to collect the Four Ancient Gems. These are the Black Gem of the North, the White Gem of the West, the Crimson Gem of the South, and the Azure Gem of the east. Once you place them in their designated pedestals, you will open a special gateway, which will warp you to the summit where Huanglong himself can be fought. This would be him.:
Now, for the story...
Lore
Huanglong is the wisest creature Moonchyllus had created. The dragon's wisdom is second only to that of the goddess herself. Through his wisdom, he taught many how to fight, how to cast spells, and how to educate the people. Alex's past life may have had knowledge of magic stemming from Huanglong himself. After opening the gateway to the summit, you went up to Huanglong, where he will commend you for your hard work and train you for the eventual battle against Xantis himself. Be warned, he will use his four creations during the battle against him. These are the Genbu, the Azulong, the Suzaku, and the Steelstriker. He will also use all of the elements during the fight, and I do mean all. Bear in mind, every skill you learned throughout your adventure came from him. Be careful, adventurer.
Mechanics
During the fight, Huanglong will fly around the arena. Only Huanglong's head can be hit in order to damage him, as he will deflect hits from anywhere else on his body. When attacking, he will fly off the arena. The arena is surrounded by an invisible wall that prevents ranged attackers like archers and gunmen from cheating a win against him. This invisible wall cannot be bypassed by players, but it can be bypassed by Huanglong and his spells. He may use either a fire spell, an ice spell, a thunder spell, or a poison spell. Huanglong may also summon three creatures, all which are randomized among the following mobs on the list:
-Genbu
-Azulong
-Suzaku
-Steelstriker
-Lizag or Kingscorpee
So yeah, there's that.

Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
Flashlight back at it again with another round of fantastic ideas. Absolute support for him
Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
Azulong could be changed to lanlong as lan means blue in mandarin just like huang with is yellow
Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
Support I hope all will be implemented .

Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
Nice effort and cool idea, I'm supporting this suggestion, robby has a big work for this
Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
Flashlight how do you consistently make such cool designs? Seriously I'm digging these, they're super cool, also RIDABLE FVCKING KREETON JESUS CHRIST?!?!?!?!?
Oh and Huanglong should in concept be designed to be tougher than active, the build up is pretty huge if we gotta collect four mcguffins for it, so it should be way beyond things like the cionic organism, I'm talking stats that REQUIRE a team to kill.

Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
I'm not a big fan of bosses personally (just feel they are kinda useless and boring), but definitely a cool concept and Awesome enemies to go along with it. Definitely would be a cool addition in the future.
Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
Big support
Re: Four Beasts + Huanglong (Mid-Boss)
Support! So many cool mobs. Steelstriker especially with the different attacks.
