Where's the Squisher rain?

One thing to note about standing on the switches, is that all enemies previously spawned from the switches must be killed in order for more to spawn. Was this perhaps the issue?

No; that was the first time I managed to get someone to activate the switches in awhile. I think it had to be all switches being stood on at the same time, but I haven't checked in awhile.
