What I did to do that was the next thing I mounted the scoorpe and went to another area but the scoorpe dismounted when I went to another area and since it was behind me it killed me and when I appeared at the hotel I was riding the scoorpe but dead

I got the same bug when I tried to mount a scorpee, but it killed me. ZZZ

Since this bug seems very doable, yes, a video would be helpful.

Did you just die on a scorpee to make this happen? Or does it only happen sometimes and/or is rare?

Thanks for the video! It looks like this is happening because you manage to take damage directly before mounting to the scorpee. I went ahead and added in a check so that if the player manages to die while riding a scorpee in these rare cases, they will be automatically un-mounted. So this will be fixed in the next update.
