my items dissapeared when i tried equipping them

so i logged in to return my friends items cuz i was borrowing them to look cool, when he gave back mine and i gave back his. I couldnt equip it, and i tried restarting the site and the stuff i tried to equip was gone, here are the items that dissapeared.
-romance armor
-p2 f2 ss2 ferretter bow
-romance boots

This sounds rather strange. Do you know if the other player you traded with still had the items after they refreshed?

Also happened to me like 3 times, after I successfully traded a Lunatic Set to my other account, then tried to equip the Lunatic legs but it can't. Refreshed the game and then the item disappeared. And I think it's a rare bug.
