Occasionally it is difficult to do if someone is AFK dead in the area or something like that, however aside from that, it’s pretty easy because you can just agree to split the large pot between the players there and so everyone will likely agree to help. Especially on the non-peak times, it’s very easy to pull off.Robby wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 1:59 pmOk thanks for the info. Is that easy to pull off? It seems to be like it'd be hard to do without someone else being in the area and throwing it off. Also seems like it'd be time consuming to keep checking the jackpot sign and walking back in/out. Or am I missing something?CrazyVanilla wrote: ↑Tue Oct 18, 2022 2:59 pmIf you reset the area, the jackpot will change. So instead of waiting the 10 minutes for a new koth to start to see if it’s a big jackpot, you can just leave the area and rejoin (assuming no one else is still in the area), and a new jackpot will appear.
It is a bit annoying to keep walking in and out to check the jackpot, however it only takes 15-20 seconds to do it, compared to waiting 10 minutes to win the koth to get a new jackpot… in terms of trying to make money, it’s quite fast, seeing as at some point the jackpot will be pretty good if you keep resetting it over and over, especially if you know that someone purchased an expensive item recently.
I’d say if your able to make it so that the jackpot doesn’t change when the area is reset, it’d be worth doing to prevent this for sure.
