after making a character storie is bugged

Created a new character [account] then story comes you press continue once then a space ship comes out? then i tried to press continue but it doesnt work :((((((( i tried multiple times it doesn't let me play fix this issue or is it just me?

What if you try to sign into an existing account, does it let you?

So you log on and then it disconnects you, or you are never able to fully log on in the first place? I just need to know to figure out where in the process it is failing.
