Server Time Display

So....is there a server time display somewhere? So that it's easier to know when Bripps department store opens....

Nope, but Robby talked about adding one in eventually. For now, you will just have to look up the current time in UTC.

why UTC? Isn't Robby in EST. A lot of players are in EST

Because the game's servers are already in UTC, so no point in using 2 time zones. Also, using time zones that change during March and November can cause issues with the day/night cycle.

Yes, as Jakub said it currently goes off of "UTC time". If you just slap that in Google it will show you the time. I plan to add it in-game in the near future. As for using EST instead of UTC, I do agree that once the game has a more solid player-base, I will see where the majority of players are coming from and probably change the servers time to that time zone. For now though, it's just easiest to have it at UTC, but yes it may change in the future.
