Ranged class poll

Which one do you prefer? Rangers or gunners. Please vote on all basis like defense, mobility, dps and abilities.

I won't vote since I have not tried ranger/archer or gunner so I want to see what all you guys think so I can try that class first.

Options should be:
Archer
Gunmen
Whipmaster
Mage (through wonky skills, unless you count the click-attack only.)

Yeah mages can be considered both melee and ranged( melee damage from staves and wands range from abilities) and whipmaster doesn't have VERY large range so I thought to just exclude both and main reason was I was deciding whether I should try archer first or gunmen so sorry I should have mentioned that.
