The game devs(Flashlight, & Robby) seem to have a lot on their hands with Moonchyllus' animation, plans for future areas and all the bugs mentioned on the forums. Plus they have a life too. So hopefully the next patch comes within a month; updates are more spaced out recently.

Robby said update coming out mid this week, there is no donation drone on the 10th so I think update is coming out June 10th.

Flashlight is no dev. Just a talented artist who gives suggestions to Robby, not to undermine him or anything just saying.
