There was a bug at the time (i believe this how he duped) where inventory is doesn't save. This means every time there's a new or remove an item in yur inventory, IT WILL RESET back to its same inventory you had. Meaning yu lost some or you got tons of $$$.
And i highly suspected he do that thing and abused it too much fr by using an alt to DUPED p5 pellets over and over again
