Talk about the game, questions, events, etc.

PvP is not only boring, but also require next to 0 skill. All it takes for 99% players is lot of HP, lot of defence, a P5 pellet spitter and voila, you can effortlessly kill just about anyone. And aiming a gun with a mouse is extremly easy (compared to other classes). You want to know why it's boring? Because it's legit filled with those guns. And no, not everyone have 3M+ (or whatever the cost is) to buy the most cheesy gun in the game for no-skill PvP fights.
Not true at all. Poison zone is very OP, but actual pvp fights are very fun and do actually take strategy and skill for the most part (when the server isn't lagging anyway, like it has been recently really badly).MaxBlue01 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 5:45 pmPvP is not only boring, but also require next to 0 skill. While I will agree with some of your points you make, ultimately it is a grinding game. How do you think the "rich" players get "rich"? Even if they P2W, the money has to come from somewhere, someone has to grind it... Getting equipment as a rich player is no different than getting it as a lower level player. It still takes hundreds of hours to grind for a max set, that's just the purpose of the game. I know one of the big parts of the economy you talk about is runes, but instead of looking at the prices and complaining because they are expensive to buy, why don't you look at it from the other perspective where lower level players can sell these runes for a TON of money. Take for example poison runes, which can be grinded out extremely easily at like level 15-30. You can sell p1 and p2 for 100k+ each, which at that level is a TON of money. As a lower level player, you don't REALLY need runed equipment because you can just buy the next tier equipment to get stronger instead. Runes are only really necessary for higher level equipment where the level gaps are higher and the rune effects are actually meaningful rather than just a little bit of extra damage.MaxBlue01 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 5:45 pmAs you progress, the grind is more and more tedious, and you barely feel getting stronger compared to enemies. The fact is simple: the whole economy is completely broken. To the point it's clear the economy isn't fair. Currently, only rich lvl 100+ players control most of the trades and the items being sold at vendors, with THEIR prices for some of them (runes, runed items) where the prices is just absurd compared to the boost obtained. Meanwhile, new and normal players will endlessly struggle, and most of them will likely quit the game, because of a poorly designed economy (not to mention other parts of the game). At this rate, the game will become an exclusive capitalist elite game, where only at most 40 players will "play" (or should i say non-stop trading), and maybe a few very curious players. That's all.
Using builds with more defense and hp really makes pvp boring and less depends on your skill. Shield made warrior boring, before you had two warriors pvp was more interesting, you could stun your opponent. And now with shield you take damage from your own attacks and victory is based on amount of your defense, damage and hp, as well as who will do faster weakening from the ice or a critical hit. Fine stance that keeps you from being stunned took away mage's last chance to kill a warrior in pvp. About poison guns. It requires you to have 0 skill, just shoot and spam pizza, "interesting pvp".MaxBlue01 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 5:45 pmPvP is not only boring, but also require next to 0 skill. For best set you need to do "interesting" grinding over 200 hours if you want to upgrade your set well and have some chance in pvp.MaxBlue01 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 5:45 pmHere are a few stats from personal experience:
- at lvl 20, you can grind like 15k per hour. A full equipment cost around that level cost around 200k. So that's a total of 13h+ of grinding (not to mention you will level up enough to reach the NEXT tier of equipment)
- at lvl 50 (assuming you are not cheesing with p5 pellet spitter), you can grind 60k per hour. A full equipment cost around 3.5M, so that's around 60h+ of grinding at the same enemy. And guess what? You are still going to level up enough to reach the next tier.
When I started playing I constantly felt like I was getting stronger as I bought a new set and leveled up, no one had level 100 at this time.MaxBlue01 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 5:45 pmAs you progress, the grind is more and more tedious, and you barely feel getting stronger compared to enemies. It still seems to me that your income from grinding should be based on a stable things, like the amount of coins from monsters and amount of loot sold. Runes can go up and down in price. A rare rune may not become rare, as happened with s4 and hopefully will happen with some stage runes, because their price isn't fine.CrazyVanilla wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 5:55 pmWhile I will agree with some of your points you make, ultimately it is a grinding game. yep. i want to play this its fun.MaxBlue01 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 17, 2022 5:45 pmNow answer me: is THIS the game you want to play? Does the MAJORITY of you want something like that? To be excluded from the game, while the rich players have all the fun? Because i don't. And while some ignorant kids keep ask for completely random suggestions (like new class, new skill, adding pets, ...) that does NOTHING to improve the game, i made several threads with several pertinent, usefull ideas that WILL improve the game. Significantly. But if all of you want to keep ignoring the important ideas and want to let Robby screw his game more and more, go ahead. That will just end up exactly the same as HH. I'm not saying i'm the only one with ths kind of ideas, but i feel like players doesn't realise the game isn't "completed" yet. To me, it still feels like an unfinished beta game with tons of stuff to fix, to correct and to re-disign.
